Associations Centre "Trade - Service - Tourism"
The modern nine-storey office building in a first class location with a huge atrium on a square plan allows each federation to present itself as an independent organization. On the other hand, the floor plans allow for multiple synergies and cooperations between federations. The light flooded high atrium space rises to building height and a large, fully glazed "window" affords a view over the River Spree. The main facades were designed within tight restrictions by the local authorities as a rhythmic elevation of pale limestone and large glazing areas, set off by slender aluminium sections.
